Guacamayal, Colombia, is a forgotten town where a lack employment opportunities along with a poor standard of education traps families in an endless cycle of poverty. Tragically, many children experience abuse and trauma. The Stand by Me Emmanuel Care Centre is a hub exploding with colour, bringing joy to 200 children. Children receive nutritious food, medical care and tutoring. It is a safe environment where our resident psychologist is at hand to listen, support and guide children and parents, helping children rise above their circumstances and reach their full potential.
