Cycle London to Paris for Stand by Me children

Do the words “cycling”, “Paris” and “Tour de France” get you excited? If so, then we have an event perfect for you.

The London – Paris Bike Ride. Four days, two hundred and ninety five miles, two capital cities, one awesome ride in the tracks of the cycling greats, then watch the finale of the Tour de France!

Our 295 mile, 4 day bike ride from the 20th to the 24th July 2016 takes us through the beautiful Kent countryside to Dover, before crossing the Channel to Calais. Our route takes us along quiet French country lanes, through traditional market towns with views of the rolling, green fields of Northern France, passing the war memorials and cemeteries of the Somme. The pièce de résistance of this cycle challenge will be the final cycle up the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe, following in the tyre tracks of the cycling greats, before watching them cycle the same route the next day in the finale of the Tour de France!

This bike ride is suitable for people of any age over 18 with a great sense of adventure and the desire to support the children cared for by Stand by Me through raising sponsorship.

The fantastic Bike Ride is organised by Global Adventures and places are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. So, try to register as soon as you can! You can find out more about the challenge in this booklet and you can register online here. We would love you to get in contact with us if you have an questions and would like more information.

Once you have signed up we would love to help you fundraise so head over to our fundraising page or get in contact with us to provide you with a fundraising pack to make your fundraising as easy, fun and as effective as possible.
